The Fraud Act 2006 – Insight and Application

We are privileged to have Mr Justice Calvert-Smith as our first speaker to give an "Introduction to the Act". Nicky Padfield, a door tenant of chambers and Senior Lecturer at the Law Faculty, University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Fitzwilliam College Cambridge, will consider, “Sentencing Fraud Effectively.” Michael Egan QC will discuss the offence of Conspiracy to defraud in light of the Fraud Act 2006. Mark Bryant-Heron will detail the new offences under the Act. Mark Seymour will examine “The Interaction of the Fraud Act with Existing Fraud Offences.”
