  Recruitment and Training

9-12 Bell Yard has developed a formidable reputation for providing teams of expert barristers for commercial fraud cases and for cases in all other areas of serious crime. As a Premier League set, we are a growing entity and pride ourselves on our expanding and stable membership.

Our Members are provided with excellent support from the Clerks and administrative staff. Chambers pays close attention to individual career development. Expert in-house training and guidance, both formal and informal, are provided to our new recruits and pupils who are selected from many hundreds of applicants. As 9-12 Bell Yard maintains an envied and dominant position at the Criminal Bar, we are fortunate enough to be able to select our Members from the very best candidates.

Each year, we offer:

Sixteen 1-week mini pupillages to students who are interested in becoming barristers
    Four 12-month funded pupillages
    3rd six pupillages
